So?

Christopher Parkening is 69, Julian Bream is 83 and John Williams is 84. All of them extremely talented guitar players.

I enjoyed it!
Well of course there are other older people that play a good guitar. Towguy didn't say he was the only one.

I also enjoyed it. Maybe it's just me but I got the impression that either Tow or the person that added the title in the video thought it amazing that an older man could play that well. To me that smacks of ageism in the worst way.

Amazing, no. Impressive (as I noted), yes. Anybody who can play an instrument like that (my daughter on her clarinet included) impresses me. My only musical talent is changing stations on the radio or slipping a CD in.

We have a guy my age at church that plays reminiscent of that older gentleman. At the end of the services, he and a couple of the others in the "band" will jam as people leave the sanctuary. I just sit there and watch/listen to them. I don't dare cut the sound board off !! The sounds are incredible, and they just don't know when to quit Love it.

Today we donated our last CD player to GoodWill. A couple of weeks ago my grandson (age 8) asked me "what's a CD Papa?" He only knows music played from "devices" and from his father's vinyl record collection.
