Sorry, can't resist crowing a little. My woodworking entry for this year's State Fair; it's awaiting review for post in D.I.M.:

Will be in Did It Myself as soon as reviewed. I'll add some detail pics to the ones I already have up.

That's my first blue ribbon/best of show. Bad news is that from now on I have to compete in the "Advanced" division and some of those guys enter stuff I can't even do in my DREAMS.

Nicely done! Looks like a bit of Shaker or Craftsman style. Nice form!

Very nice work. I'd love to see some close-ups of the difficult areas.

Keep watching DIM [Your Projects], it's not up yet. Still under review by whoever handles that.

If your pockets are REAL deep, I can oblige. Actually you would have to stand in line. My brother posted to FB and one of his FB music friends wants one for her son and possibly a second one for her husband. Can't start that for a while as I am working on a vanity for son's bathroom (which will also get tile).

..... and I thought you were a tow truck driver...

Seriously, Great Job! I just got started getting involved in doing wood working. I'm currently in the middle of a TV stand with file drawers etc.. Certainly nothing with quality like that. Mine may end up in the yard to set pot plants on before its finished.... if it'll support even that weight... lol

Congrats on your project & your win/prize.

I'm a woodworker. Driving the wrecker is getting to be more and more like a hobby.

Okay, project is up live now:

Hardwood Music Stand | DoItYourself.com

Apologies for the slide show being out of order; when I added the extra images it just plugged them in out of order and won't let me re-order them. Also if you see dust on the close-ups, I didn't notice until I was posting, it's Fair dust I didn't blow off.
