I think we've seen some of these pictures posted here by some members.

The first one is labeled "Supplemental attic heating".
The second one is labeled "Do I have a neutral bundle"

SAD, very sad.

And it's just not in this field. Stuff like this takes place in all walks of life. And we as consumers cannot be experts in all things, so we take it on good faith that "professionals" are doing their job.

True story. My daughter, a veterinarian, watched as one of the new doctors was ready to quit in the middle of a surgery because it was 5:00 pm quitting time. The animal was opened up and the doctor quit in the middle. She is beside herself because she sees things like this all the time. I can only imagine what takes place in a human hospital that we don't know about.

The building trades are ripe with scam artist. And many inspectors are on the take.

In the example that Ray posted, human life is at stake! That's the bad part.
