She's a caregiver. We've always celebrated on Christmas eve because of it.

Kudos to her. Glad that it's not some type of store or non-essential business.

First lowland snow in at least three years hit yesterday afternoon. I've got about 4 inches on the porch railings this morning.

My sister and her son came by last night for gift exchange. They couldn't get out of the cul-de-sac until they scraped a lot of snow and Ice off the street and then salted it down. Even then it was 1 AM by the time they got out. She had called AAA and they told her tough toenails, their wreckers couldn't make it up the hills either.

Like dealer or waitresses or floor bosses in a casino? They were all at work today, catering to visitors or folks that had outlived everyone else. There's always a lot of oldsters in Laughlin...but today that's about ALL that were there.

Hey Vic I loved topping the hill going there. This was before the new road. One with all the desert dips in it.
