More snow mess.

We got +18" of snow here in northern NJ.
Major tree damage. Many impassible roads. What a mess.
Half the town still without power..... 2700 out.... of 4800 customers.

I've got a large piece of tree sitting on my roof that I can't even get to yet. Luckily no penetration. Ran two snowblowers to clean my property as well as my neighbors.

Watch when you lift tree. Had a limb fall on roof and thought no penetration until lifted. found a thumb sized limb went through.

Luckily.... it was bent way over from the snow and was laying on the roof when it snapped. I've already been in the attic checking,

I was outside around 9pm last night listening to the trees cracking and falling all over the neighborhood as well as watching the flashes as the trees took down the power lines.

I remember my first 4" snow storm in NJ back in 68 and people went crazy. I'm sure they have improved but 18" is a whopper. Sounds like there will be lots of firewood. Same storm for us but looks like 8" maybe a little more. Better than 18".

We got about 8" and was it heavy! Also branches all over and in some areas, people have been without power since last Friday's snow storm which brought down trees everywhere! It is a mess!
The worst part is that's it's a lot colder than it should be which makes for slow melting.

We had about 2" of tree pollen this week. Very annoying.
