Judgement question

I have (had) a judgement on my record from 16 years ago. I never clear it up. Recently, I ran a credit report and the judgement didn't show up. The credit reports from the big three showed nothing under public records. I signed a personal guaranty for a business loan in NYS 1989.
Where else can this judgement show up? or am I that lucky that they didn't renew the judgement? thanks in advance.

that's likely it. as employees come and go things fall through the cracks. we maintain a 10 year calender for the exact same reason.

Judgments do expire. How long depends on the state, here in Wisconsin they last 20 years.
