I have an employee that may have received a PFA. In PA, will that keep me from getting him cleared to work as a contractor in a school?

What's a PFA? Regardless, a lawyer may need to be consulted to interpret the statutes in place.

Wayne .. correct. This person is going thru a nasty divorce and child custody battle, the wife filed a PFA (Protection from abuse) against him. Warranted of not, that will show on his record. We do work in schools where we have to carry an ACT something or other, even the internet search couldn't help me figure it out.

Tough call - it may be something which can be explained or it may be something which eliminates their chances right upfront.

May need to consult with a lawyer on this. Hmm... looks like I said that already, sorry to be redundant.
