Legal Advice for Potential Divorce

There's not much here. Is this legal advice part of the forum new? I have a basic (if there is such a thing) question regarding a potential divorce with my spouse. Is that something discussed in the forum? I ask because I don't see a couple of topics and certainly nothing related to divorce.

No, this forum has been around as long as I have been a member. For some reason the little box at the bottom that sets the date range is missing.

Divorce is a matter of state law and can be different in each of the fifty states. You can ask your question but ONLY a lawyer licensed to practice in you state can give a definitive answer. Even then, any answer on this site is ONLY a suggestion and not binding legal advice, for that you need to hire an attorney. Some attorneys will give a 15 or 30 minute free consultation.

As Furd said, you can ask but the answer in this forum is often that you do need to consult with an attorney.
