BAC level

What is the current BAC level for drunk driving.

I think Michigan had a clause in their law where the level reverted to the old .1 level on October 1st. So that may be the one oddball state. Other than that it's .08.

..... and it's lower for those with CDLs, .04 % if I remember correctly.

I have a CDL and I thought it was .02%. That said, I don't drink much and when I do I tend to be at home in the first place so it has never important I really know....

Mitch, they may have changed it. I had to give my CDL up a few yrs back - can't pass the physical

I don't use mine any more but they let me keep it without a health card - I'm sure I'd have to get a new health card if I wanted to drive a commercial vehicle again.

Here in tenn you can't renew your CDL without a current DOT health card. I didn't need mine but would have like to have kept it.

It is not changed to .o5%. When i was in US, it was .08%. I heard it would be reduced to .o5%.
