About the NEW July 1st Workman Comp Law??

Any body know much about that new law to take effect..
I got hurt at work last year June 11 2013 and had a torn Roto Cuff
I had 3 tears I did Surgery Feb 4th 14 went through 4 Mos of PT and was released to go back to work Full Time Today... But Dr said he wanted to see me again in 6 weeks July 10th...
I have been light duty for about 2 mos.

Does this the Dr not releasing me before July 1st effect my claim
I have been at my job 32 years first time injury for me...

Does this new law effect my case what is the new law

Thank You

While I don't know about the new law, I would have to think it would not affect any claims or injuries that happened before that date. Only injuries that happened after that date.
A follow up visit would be associated with injuries before that date.
I might be wrong, but I don't think so.
