Question medicine cabinet mirrors

I am remodeling and want to put a framed oval mirror over each of the two sinks in the vanity. I also want medicine cabinets. I have not located medicine cabinet doors that are framed ovals--framelss ovals, framed squared--not framed ovals. It can't be too hard how do I either make or attach a framed oval mirror to a medicine cabinet door?

Oval medicine cabinets

If you type oval medicine cabinets into your favorite search engine, you will come up with some manufacturers. While some dealers may not have these on display, they have catalogs where they can order for you.

I have tried that but have not had luck. Do you know of a particular seach engine upon which that has worked?

I would really like to know how to do it myself.

Unhappy medicine cabinet mirrors

Unfortunately, the list does not include a gold framed oval medicine cabinet. There are frameless ovals, and gold framed squares and rectangles--there is even an oak oval framed one, but not a gold oval frame, and the oak one is not a good candidate for gold leafing.

Most picture framing shops have or can order stock oval frames in a gold leaf finish and insert a mirror.

Yes, the problem is once I have the oval framed mirror, How do I attach it to the medicine cabinet? Any do-it-yourselfers out there who have done this and have a suggestion?

You must purchase a stock medicine cabinet with a hinged mirrored door and a stock oval frame large enough to cover the mirrored door. The oval frame with it own mirror must then be backed with a piece of galvanized steel or masonite and glued over the medicine cabinet hinged door. Use 1/8" mirror to cut down on the weight. This is an idea, you may have to improvise.
