okay to stick mirror to tile wall with 2 way tape?

I'm having a small full bath put in my basement and it's fully tiled: walls, ceiling, floor. The mirror i bought for over the lav is 22" round and weighs only 5.7 lbs....it's okay to use only two-sided tape, isn't it? It came with clips, wires, and screws, but I don't want to drill thru the tile and I want the mirror as flush to the wall as possible. thanks.

The two-sided tape is OK to use with a 6 lb mirror. Make sure the tile surface is clean and dry.

The tape did not work for me. I put a 12x12 in my bathroom, for a few days. I say a few day because it fell off.
Maybe I did something wrong? I don't think so.
If you are going to use two sided tape. Be careful!!

It's possible that the two-sided tape was not a good quality for it to fail. To be sure that the mirror won't fall, put a few dabs of clear silicone and a few pieces of two-sided tape to act as a temporary bond.
