etched glass on shower door

etched glass on shower door

Any one hear of a process that will correct glass in a shower door that has been etched by I do know what. Use municipal water but for some reason the shower doors got etched.

No such repair is possible as far as I know.
Did you try a descaler like CLR to be sure it is etched and not just scaled up?

You really need to be careful which cleaners you use on glass as many specifically warn about glass damage.
Read the labels on your cleaners and you may find one or more either do not say it can be used on glass or warn against it.

Interesting advice

That is iinteresting, in the years I have used products I can't remember anytime seeing a product that states it cannot be used on glass (as far as a general cleaning agent). I note some say not for granite or could affect some types of china or aluminum.

I did find one tip for glass doors and that is to use lemon oil, very little and it supposedly does wonders in helping to keep clean shower doors.
