Somebody shot a hole through a pane in our leaded glass front window. I would like to repair it, using the same material that is used to repair holes in automobile windshields. I would also like to know what procedure they use to repair it. It is my understanding that when they finish the job, you can't tell where the hole and the cracks were. Thanks for your help.

If you want to take this route then call a glass company that specializes in plate glass repair as any kit that is sold in a store is not going to be of quality. The truth is no repair is unoticable. The repair just becomes less noticable. Also, the resin takes up the second job of keeping the crack or star break from increasing.
