Exclamation mirror drilling

The mirror is 1/4 in. and I want to drill a 1/2 in. hole.
My local supply store say they can drill it but wouldnt be responsible so figure I might as well try it.Thanks

Hire them

There is always a risk of the mirror breaking while it's being drilled. It is the nature of the work. The diamond bit will probably cost you more than what they will charge to come out and do it for you. I would recommend spending your money wisely which would be to take advantage of their experience and hope things go succesfully.
