Picture hooks won't reach the saw teeth
I have the following that have saw teeth behind them to catch a hook nailed into the wall:

The problem is that the depth of the picture frame makes it impossible to catch the hook attached to the wall. Is there something else I can for frames that have a deeper depth to them?

You can run a wire from side to side using small eye hooks to attach to the frame, that will allow some slack to get the wire pulled back to the hooks on the wall.
