Mirror Mastic - Favorite?

Folks,
What is the general thoughts on a good Mirror Mastic? I'm thinking of this one. I will also have clips in place, the mastic is just an extra assurance.

Thanks
Also....bought a Walabot.....excellent tool. Up and running in about 5 mins or so. Very good but pricey, but there's always the relatives you can lend it to.

If you're going to use clips, I see no need for mastic or glue. That will only ruin the wall when and if you need to remove the mirror.

Thoughts on this damage

Is this repairable? I placed the mirror into the bottom clips and one clip scraped the mirror backing. It won't be visible....but....Will the damaged area start to creep and eventually become visible? I should really have put some silicone grease into each clip to facilitate adjustment. I slid the mirror while it was in the clips and ....

bingo.

Good question.

It looks like that mirror is used in a bathroom.
I have a feeling the high moisture content in the air may cause the silvering to rot/tarnish at that edge.

Clean area well. I like lighter fluid.
Seal/ paint the mirror with a liquid silver paint or marker.
After that... cover the silver with flat black paint to further seal the area.

There are many liquid chrome paints and pens available.
One example - liquid chrome

OK thanks much appreciated. I've got a mirror guy coming this week to take a look at the job. I don't know how I managed to 'crunch' the edge of that one, but there are 3 mirrors each with 4 clips.....this might be a job for the experienced. Thanks for the help, as always, much appreciated.

Lightweight Workable Mirror Mastic?

What are the most workable Mirror Mastic products? I really need a mastic that will allow a thin coat as the mirrors will sit in clips and be pretty well flush to the wall. Palmer blue is very workable but what else is out there?
Probably need the opposite of this one?

You apply a thin coat by cutting a small tip off the nozzle of the tube. Mastic behind a mirror on clips is kind of pointless. And if you use it all you need is a few dots since it's in clips.
