making an artificial window
Recently I was in a model home and there was a "wall" decor which was an artificial window. It looked like a window but was made with mirror. I need to knowhow to go about making one of these. :

The ones I've seen are made from old wood sashes that have been removed from homes that have had the windows replaced. The glass is removed, the paint is stripped, the frame refinished and mirror put into the frame where the glass originally was. Most of them are divided in to 4, 6 or 8 panes. Go to one of your local replacement window dealers and take one out of his trash.
