Sea Salt on Windows

Can anyone help with removing Sea Salt from windows which dont appear to have been cleaned for a number of years?
So far it has defied all normal methods and various cleaning fluids.

Thanks

The salt has probably etched the glass and there is no way to clean it.

The mineral salts have more than likely etched the glass. You can however try removing the salt with white vinegar and then polishing with a glass polish like Gel Gloss to provide a protective coating on the glass and to help the glass shield water.
