Fan beams

I have a Wrisco screenroom that is attached to my house. I want to put in a ceiling fan but I have to install a fan beam to support the fan's weight. One side will attach to my house and the other side to the far end of the screenroom(12' away). Any suggestions on where I can get this fan beam and what brackets I need? I do not want any wood, I am looking for white aluminum or possibly a resin "I-beam". Any or all help will be greatly appreciated!

Get a length of aluminum 2X3 square stock, with 1/8" wall. White?? Either paint it or have it powder coated. Check you Yellow Pages under 'Metals' for sources. You should be able to get brackets for the beam from the same source.
