Concrete Pad

I have a concrete pad that sits on a foundation approx. 6" in depth. We get irrigation here so I have it sitting up on a pad of dirt somewhat high. Last week from all the rain we have received, my husband stepped down off the concrete pad and slipped in the mud. Because of the height of the foundation and slippery mud he broke his ankle and strained his knee. What can I put on the side of the foundation, in dirt, to keep anyone from slipping? I was thinking of just adding more dirt to build the burm / foundation up again, but that will not stop anyone from slipping. Any ideas???

You could try pre-cast concret pavers or stepping stones. They are available in a variety of sizes, styles and colores.
