Putting up an Arrow 10x13 alum shed

Hey, I bought one of those shed kits from Sears and it came with this floor system. Once you layout the floor everything is supposed to go together. I laid out the floor kit which is a bunch of aluminum matchsticks. I'm confused because my boyfriend says I need a level part of the yard and I have to have a base. I thought that the floor kit that came with it was supposed to take care of that...

I'm fairly handy with a hammer but I'm afraid that I don't know what to do to get this thing up and housing my lawn mower! If I just put these "sticks" on the ground (grass) and make sure the corners are 90 degrees then my shed should just go up around it? Is that a bad thing? Why have I never looked at the way neighbors put up a shed??

Does anyone have any suggestions about the best way to provide a base or add to the alum matchstick floor?

I bought the 10' x 10' Arrow shed from sears and got the same metal frame floor.

I'm thinking of just putting the shed together and filling in a 4"-6" gravel floor.

Anyone else?

I just put mine on the ground and used 3/4" treated plywood for the floor. It's been there for many years. Of course I don't see the metal frame under it. Could be rotted away as far as I know.
