Lightbulb Converting a Sunroom into a Greenhouse

My parents who live in Houston, TX have a sunroom attached to the back of their house. They recently expressed interest in turning the sunroom area into a green house. Does anyone know what it would take to equip a sunroom to be able to grow vegetables, fruit, ect.?

First off, a method of keeping the moisture from entering the walls between the sunroom and the rest of the house. An incredible amount of heat and moisture come from greenhouses. Is this room an add on, or a part of the original construction, or tied in as original construction would be.

Add on

It is an add on but is tied in as original construction would be. Are their standard methods for keeping moisture from leaking into the house? Would it be as simple as covering and sealing the wall connected to the house?
