Question

I am building a sunroom on my existing
deck. I would like to keep the existing
vinyl siding on my house as one of the
interior walls of the sunroom. What is
the easiest/best way to tie the walls of
the sounroom into the siding and have a
water tight seal?

Remove the vinyl siding and insulation under it, build the sunroom and attach it to the house. Then install a "J" channel on the interior and exterior corners where the sunroom attaches to the house, cut the siding to fit, and reinstall it. Caulk the "J" to the sunroom walls with 100% silicon.
