I need to replace my shed door. Years of sun, not enough paint, and the wrong kind of wood, it is almost useless. What I would like, is one of those roll up steel doors, but that is out of my price range. It is a 4 ft x 7 1/2 ft. The door now is 2 2ft doors. Would it be better, to put just one big door, or two smaller doors again.

I'm getting a shed built by a professional shed builder. It's a barn style, 10x10. I have my choice of wood or metal siding. I was leaning towards metal because it should require less maintenance, now I'm rethinking that. I think the wood sheds just look better in a backyard. For one thing, the trim (door, window and roof) is wider. And, if I add a window or vent or something, it's a lot easier. The metal sheds seem to look so "industrial". And, I have two small boys who love to throw rocks. I realize the wood shed will have to be painted every few years. The roof is metal in either case. Thoughts, pros and cons?
