Sunroom roof panel damaged

A tree branch has penetrated one of the panels in my sunroom roof. (Patio Enclosures in Michigan installed in 1988). It has not come through to the interior ceiling. Repairman says the entire roof must be replaced???? Isn't it possible to just replace the one panel?

No it is not. Your repairman is correct. If you'd rather repair it, you might be able to find a roofer who could repair and coat with a polyurethane foam, but I'm not sure if they could warranty it or not. But you can't just take a panel out of the middle without disassembling the perimeter gutter/fascia and removing all the panels needed to get to it.
