Question about siding shed double doors. Need help!

In the next few weeks I plan to build my shed. I think I have everything figured out except for the construction of my double doors and vinyl siding it. My question is, what is the frame around the doorway covered with? See unshaded area of picture. I don't think it's just painted. Maybe flashing of some sort?

No way to tell. Has it been wrapped with aluminum trim coil?

Often the door and it's frame/jamb is painted. Generally on a vinyl or aluminum sided house you still have to paint the doors. Some will wrap the door casing or brick mold with aluminum. As X stated you have the option of wrapping it with aluminum.
