Shed roof help
My shingles on my shed look bad. I plan on replacing them when it warms up in about 6 months.
I calculated 14,000 square foot. Both lengths are 100", and widths are both 70".
My question is how many packs of shingles do I need? I was looking at this: https://www.lowes.com/pd/GAF-ROYAL-S...ngles/50405242
Those are the cheapest shingles I could find. Its not like its my house roof so I want the cheapest that will last.
I tried doing the math, but I know I was way off. I know how to do shingles from working in construction, but just don't know how to figure out how much 1 bundle covers.

100 in. x 70 in. x 2 = 14,000 sq. in.
14,000 sq. in / 144 sq in / sq ft = 97 sq. ft.
97 sq ft / 100 sq ft / square = .97 squares
I would start with 4 bundles to allow for starter strip and ridge cap.
The description on the web site you referenced says 33.33 sq. ft per bundle.

3 bundles of most shingles cover 1 square [100 sq ft] architectural shingles take 4 bundles per square. As noted above you'll need extra for your starter strip, ridge cap and a little for waste.

Go back and look at the first line in that picture you posted, it's 33.3 Sq. ft.
It would be far simpler to figure this out in ft. not inches.
Using your numbers that would be one tiny shed.
8 X 6 X 2 = .96 Sq.ft = less then one Sq.
Plus another bundle for the starter strip and caps if you use those cheap 3 tab shingles, (which I never would use unless I was just trying to fix it up to sell)
