Need a little sunroom advise.
I have a Four Seasons Sunroom that is 13 years old. There have been no problems or leaks. It is conservatory style with aluminum frame and vinyl. I recently had someone from the company come out to look at a door that I wanted replaced. While he was here he suggested I have the entire structure re- caulked, including the roof glass which was never caulked, even when it was installed. It just has the rubber weather stripping. He insists its the right thing to do to keep the windows from losing their seal due to water and ice buildup in the winter. These sunrooms are notorious for leaking. I am leary about having him up there fixing something that's not broken, and am afraid that he has a better chance of breaking a windows seal than the winters ice ever would. I can't find any other professional to advise me if I should do this. I would love any wisdom or experience anyone is willing to share.
