attic insulation

Has any one out there, that has used this LO/MIT attic cooling spray or know about it, will it work like they say , does it make the shingles age faster?
Thank You

I do not know how effective these paints are. Radiant barriers do not make the shingles age faster.

You would be better off spending your money to air seal the ceiling and all other penetrations into the attic then add insulation until you achieve at least R-38.

Most homes need up to 100 cfm of fresh air per hour for good iaq so I would watch how much you air seal

Make your house as tight as possible then ventilate if needed. Have you ever done blower door tests on homes? It is difficult to purposely make a house so tight that you must have mechanical ventilation for good IAQ. 100CFM? Every house is different.

Not hard to do at all. I am in a 1960 ranch that has not been air sealed and I need about 30 cfm. U can Easley check this by taking carbon dioxide readings. Air sealing can and does cause issues so make sure you are watching what you are doing
