Post Anchor Not Plumb

I'm attaching 6X6 wood posts to metal anchors in concrete (U shaped anchors, non-adjusting, with pin on bottom that have been drilled/epoxyed into the concrete) The anchors aren't plumb. Is it OK to shim (with what?) or better to try and trim the posts plumb. They will be supporting builtup 2X10 beams in a carport.
Thanks in advance for your help!!

I'd go with the shims over trying to trim the posts to sit plumb. You can usually get cedar shims from a decent lumber yard. Good luck & welcome to the boards.
