Door knocker and peep hole installation on fiberglass door
hi- i just replaced our old wood entry door with a stanley fiberglass pre hung unit. all went well. i would like to re-install the door knocker and peep hole from the old wood door but i am concerned about the fiberglass door holding screws for the knocker. i thought about using plastic wall anchors with adhesive but still not sure if that would be good enough. i don't want someone using it and pulling the whole thing out. any ideas??? thanks-jh

The panel of fiberglass used is rather durable stuff. I would imagine that the old screws would work fine. Take care not to over tighten them. I would mount them into the fiberglass and skip the anchors, unless the screws won't hold.
