Sliding Closet Doors Sticking at Bottom

Wooden closet doors sticking at bottom due to added carpeting. Do the round knobs at top of doors increase/decrease the height of the doors? Which way to turn them to provide more space at bottom?

the round knob on top is align the door glide in the track. there no adjustemnt there.
The bottom on are ajustable, that where you should look.
sometime you might need to cut the bottom of the door to give more clearance.
Hope this helps

Hi travel31,
- yes, the round knobs on the doors adjust height. On most closet doors you turn clockwise to raise the door. New parts for these are also available in hardware stores and HD. They're sold as 'Prime Line'.

Do it Right - Do it once.
