Design Strength for Lead Anchors

Does anyone know where to find the rated loads for lead anchors in concrete flooring? I am planning to use 5/8" bolts or lag screws.

Hanging a porch swing

Hello. I am trying to hang a porch swing from my cement back porch and would appreciate any help anybody could offer. The cement is about 6 in. thick. The swing will hold about 450 lbs at most. Would anchoring two metal fixtures (perhaps something you'd use to hang a heavy item like a punching bag) directly into the cement work? Or would I need to secure a 2x4 to the ceiling and place hooks in that? I'm looking for a safe yet uncomplicated solution if there is one. Thanks to all who respond. Andy

hinges and stainless

I'd like to redo my kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a dark solid surface countertop- however the cabinets (light oak) all have burnished brass hinges. The hinges are Amerock double demountable. These hinges only seem to come in a shiny nickel finish (or brass). Are there other options? Can I do stainless with brass hinges?
