fence staples
Hi. I'm using fence staples to fasten hardware cloth to 2x4s building animal pens. I am so tired of hitting my fingers and thumb with the hammer. Is there some sort of trick or tool that will help me do this and spare myself pain?

You could try holding them with needle nose pliers instead of your fingers. That may be a better choice.
