Fastening w/o Drilling
Is it possible to attach a painting or shelf onto brick without drilling or glueing? The wall doesn't belong to me, so I am not allowed to damage it.

3M makes a removeable line of picture hooks. You peel and stick them, and they stay. When you get ready to move, just pull a tab on the bottom, and the glue releases without damaging the walls. Do the brick have recessed pointing. That is, can you hang an "s" hook on top of a brick to hold a picture?
Shelving will be another story. You will need alot more support than can be provided without drilling.

I have used these extensively and can recommend them
I've not tried them on brick though
