Plaster wall anchors?

Are the ezee anchors useable for wood lathe plaster walls? I'm looking for anchors for plaster for book shelving and there are no studs behind the shelfs/brackets future location.

thanks for the help

The anchors may bottom out on your lath, in which case you wil have to drill through the lath to give proper clearance for the fastener. You may want to consider toggle bolts for holding such a load. At least they will expand behind the lath and give super holding strength.
