Tell me what this is called and where to find?

I am looking for a metric hex nut, M10 1.5 thread. It needs to be as thin as possible, almost like one of those nuts used in electric wiring. It looks like a jam nut, only thinner. My local hardware store had an assortment pack, but nothing metric in the package. Can anyone tell me what the name of this type of nut is, and where I can get a few?

They should be as thin as the ones in this picture, only metric.

Thanks

Hello Ntrikit,

I don't usually check this part of DIY, but I wandered in and found this topic. I looked at the picture, and had this thought. Why not check an electronic repair place? They probably have what you need just laying around. Especially if they also sell and install things.
