Question How to fasten in Aluminum Porch

I have enclosed alum porch with wood frame inside. The ceiling is alum panels that are the width of the room. I want to attach a drapery "wire cable", not a rod, to hang sheers across the room. The cable has a metal holder that screws in and at best should be screwed into the ceiling. What do I use? Where? How? It needs to support weight - it will be 14 ft across. I have a history of not hanging things correctly and don't want massive holes on the ceiling... Thanks!

sorry your question posted to the Blinds, Shades & Shutters topic hasn't been answered yet.

i've moved it to the Fasteners topic for a better chance at a reply!

Is the structure of your porch aluminum, or aluminum over wood? If you could post a picture of it, that would be helpful.
Does the cable have to run the distance in one span, or could there be a couple hooks/loops along the way? (the sheer curtain could still be one continuous drape, either way)
