Question Attaching projector & screen to ceiling metal studs

Hi,
I'm in the process of setting up a home theater system and installed a projector (weighing 15lbs) and a screen (25lbs) on a ceiling which has metal studs. To install projector, I just drilled 2 1/4" holes through the drywall and into the metal studs and just screwed in 1/2" zinc screws (without a bolt at other end). For the screen, it was again 2 3/16" holes thru drywall into metal studs and 2 zinc 5/16" hooks screwed into to hold up the ends of the screen. I was told to do this at the local lowes store. Is this gonna be secure enough? Or do I need toggle bolts to screw into the drywall too?
thanx

Welcome to the forums! What you have done, if done with enough screws and hooks, may be just fine. Personally, I would drill holes large enough to allow passage of a small wing molly and allow it to expand on top of the metal stud face. That way, you are putting pressure on top of the stud face and not relying on just the screw threads to hold it up. You would have to adapt the packaged bolt with one you can hang your screen from, but it should be fairly easy.
