file cabinet drawers won't stay shut

file cabinet drawers won't stay shut
It's like the latching mechanism is not catching...any ideas?

File Cabinet Drawer
Look behind the drawer in the very back of the cabinet. Something may have fallen out of the back of the drawer and caused the drawer to want to stay partially open.

Nope, the file cabinet is completely empty. The drawers close all the way but none of them latch closed.

Drawer Catch
Check the latch springs to see if broken or missing.

you can either fix the mechanical part that is not working or very slightly shim the front of the cabinet so the drawers can't slide open.
