Sticky Kwikset deadbolt

I've got a basic Kwikset single bolt deadbolt on my front door and it turns very easily from the inside, but when trying to lock or unlock using the key, it's very difficult to turn the key in the lock. Do I need to get a new lock or is there something I can do to make the key turn without getting stuck?
Thanks...

Have you tried lubricating the lock? Occasionally I've had to squirt a little oil in the key hole and then work it around with the key.

Our lock Pros hate WD40 except to clean the gunk out. There is a product called Lock Ease (sp?) that I believe is carried by Ace Hardware....basically it's graphite in a liquid carrier. As I remember that's what they recommended...I see TriFlow also mentioned a lot.

It will rinse and clean the cylinder and leave the graphite behind as a lubricant.
