Convert Side-Hinge Doors to Vertical-Hinge Doors On Cabinet

I have a dual, half-height cabinet (like those that are usually installed above a refrigerator) in my garage. I would like to remount the doors so they are hinged at the top and when open, will stay open until somebody closes them.

What kind of hardware should I look for? Again, I'd like to be able to swing the doors up about 110 degrees and have them somehow latch in place.

If your doors are thick enough to be bored for a 35mm euro cup hinge, and 75 is enough, I'd probably use these.

Otherwise, if you really need it to open about 110, and want something a little spendy, these would do the trick. You would need to add a mounting block behind the face frame for these hinges to mount on. Also, mounting plates w/ screws do not come with the hinges and must be ordered separately.

If you wanted to google other options, just look for "overhead cabinet hinges".
