Drywall anchor

Does anybody know how how many pounds a drywall anchor such as this:

#8 x 1-1/2" Drywall & Plaster EZ Anchor Kit

can hold?

Depends somewhat on the size...but normally about 10-15 lb rating....thats a direct down load like a picture or mirror. I've found they aren't that good for loads that might pull away from the wall, like a grab bar or towel rack type thing.

Look up EZ Toggle and you will get results with a similar product that will hold upwards to 90 vertical pounds. Same manufacturer, just a better product, IMO

wow that EZ toggle product seems nice, Home Depot's website says it can hold up to 100 pounds! Sounds almost too good to be true

EZ toggles are the ultimate sheetrock anchors. I have loaded them heavy and have never had a problem with them. They are costly as fasteners go but definitely worth it.
