help finding proper strut

i need help finding the proper strut to support 1/2'' and 3/4'' copper pipe. do i have to use an insulated strut clamp if i support he copper pipe to a galvanized strut? how do i secure a strut to the bottom of a wood joist? and can you send me a product link? any help would be appreciated.

Use copper clamps when attaching to a strut. You do not want dis-similair metals.



When just attaching to a joist then any plastic clamp is good.



I like and use these.

The copper clamps need to be used with vinyl-coated strut. Easier to simply wrap the copper pip with the heavy mil plastic tape made for the purpose. The tape is usually about 2 inches wide and one wrap is usually sufficient.
