LED strip on Aluminum

I need to stick some LED strips on a piece of aluminum about 3 feet long down lighting so the LED strip is facing the floor. Right now the 3M tape is sticking but I know eventually it will come off. I was thinking of tapping the holes and putting those zip ties cable mount with a machine screw but that might be a lot of work. I was also thinking of using silicon just to tack the strip every few inches. Any other ideas????

If you are using 3M trim tape (from a auto parts store) it won't ever come loose as long as both surfaces are clean and dry. Heck, if it holds black rubber trim in AZ summers and MI winters...it will hold some LEDs.

I cleaned the surface with alcohol and let it dry but some sections are not flushed
