What size hex head sheet metal screw fits into your standard bit holder?

The most common is 3/8 socket fitting any standard 1/4 drive ratchet.

A #8 zip screw has a 1/4" driver head.

Save headaches, buy bits with magnets in them so it will hold your screw securely.
