Making screw in concrete hold better

I am screwing a closet guide plate to a concrete floor. I already drilled the holes. Some of the screws are a little bit loose. If I wanted these screws to be in there permanently I would stick some epoxy in there. But if I ever need to remove the closet doors I must be able to get the screws out. So what would you recommend to help these screws grab on to the concrete? Maybe stick a tooth pick or small shard of wood in there? Part of a plastic anchor normally used for screwing into drywall?

Thry using a plastic anchor. If that does work then you may want to use a lead anchor secured to the concrete with hydraulic cement and screw into that. There are many anchors for use in concrete.

Screw in Concrete

Add a short piece of #14 insulated copper wire to the hole vertically and then install the screw.

Sliver of pressure treated lumber in the hole will do fine for a low cost fix. The base plate on your floor system should be pressure treated for you to harvest a couple of pieces.
