Best screws for grommets

Hi, I have a tarp with grommets that I am installing on a playground. I'd like to remove the tarp in the winter so it doesn't get damaged with the snow. I also think I need a washer as the grommet holes are bigger than the screw head. What is the easiest way to attach the tarp so I can remove it ? I don't want to unscrew each screw from the grommet as that may strip the wood over time.

Snap or D rings or something like that is the only thing coming to mind.

If it's going to be taut, how about clothesline hooks ?

You should be able to just insert the screws with enough head sticking up so that you can hook the the grommets over them and have just enough tautness to make it tight. No need to unscrew or unhook anything.

Besides over one summer the tarp will be nearly useless due to sun ultraviolet rays so that a new one will be needed by following year.

All great ideas but the tarp bungee is the best! I didn't know these exist. Thank you!

Also now that I think about it, I think zip ties will work well too...

Post a picture of what your trying to do.
I agree unless your using Sunbrella material any regular tarp will be distroyed from the UV and wind.
