Naturally, it's the back roller hardware that came off the track! Do I have to cut a hole in the wall in order to put the door back on track? Is there some trick to this? I'm sure the door was hung during initial construction and the drywall was put in afterwards. The house is 5 years old and is at least of medium quality.

Cool

You should be able to maneuver the door roller back into the track without tearing into the wall.
Pull the door out, keep the door level, and try to "feel" the roller back into the track by moving it back and forth.
Good Luck!

Wink

You may be able to lower track by removing mounting screws and reattaching rollers. Good luck Dave

Pocket Door Repair

Thanks, guys! We have now figured out that the back roller has broken off and that the hardware is top-mounted. I think we need a VERY handyman! You've all been a great help.
